Personally, I’m devastated. I’m shocked. But for now, all we can do is hope his family has not been impacted roughly and also that this doesn’t interfere with a contract extension. I sincerely hope he finds help somehow. I wish I could know the caliber of the situation. Was is bad like his relapse in 2009? For a recovering alcoholic, the outcome is worse when they encounter alcohol during recovery.

Josh Hamilton paying it forward. He showed up to support his new teammate at the press conference. As Michael Young, Ian Kinsler, & Hank Blalock did for Josh when he was first introduced at a press conference!
It knowingly meant a lot to Josh back then and he hopes it does the same for Yu. Great teammate!

Michael Dean Chadwick has decided not to take the position of accountability partner with Josh Hamilton.
According to Richard Durrett, Michael Dean Chadwick has decided not to be Josh’s partner. Cited family decisions.
He also states that Josh said he doesn’t need one. We’ll see what happens.
Michael Chadwick is the father of Katie Hamilton, Josh’s wife.
